The Columbia Future Leaders Dialogue Dinner was a wonderful night where students and faculty members from Allen University, Columbia College, University of South Carolina, and Midlands Tech gathered together at the Palmetto Club on November 7, 2018 for the Annual Future Leaders Dialogue Dinner. “Be the Change Maker” was the theme for the discussion on this evening. We were very fortunate to be able to spend an evening gaining a little insight into other cultures and having some great discussion about what it means to be a leader. Thank you again to our speaker Ivan Carter who through life experiences and work gave us his examples of being a great change maker.
The lucky ones among our guests that won this year’s trip to Columbia for the Leadership Bridge day were chosen by raffle and they are, Maheen Kahatija , Krystle Holmes-Gay, Miriam Tisdale, Zachary Smith, and Kendall Miller. They will be going to the South Carolina Capitol State House in February to meet with local politicians and participate in a Leadership meal.
We give special thanks to all of the sponsoring departments for making this program possible. We would also like to give out a special thanks to Kimberlei Davis from WOLO-TV Digital Content, Producer and Reporter who kept us on track and had wonderful insights herself.
